Raclette in Sattel

in Sattel… after the gondola, suspention bridge and hiking… and before the sledging - dinner!

it might sound very weird… but i’m in Switzerland since September 2011 and it was the first time i had raclette…. ‘cause simply cheese with potatoes i had before. sorry, sorry…i know it’s different, i know it’s a different type of cheese. but in the end it is anyway cheese and potatoes. and unfortunately the raclette cheese is too heavy for my stomach…although all together it was very tasty.

firstly, somebody else (from Germany) and i had this apple drink… apfelwein, namely apple wine… or cider :)) tasty.

the raclette per person was 22 francs, which is a good price for Switzerland…. ok, meat was not served here… and the friend from France said that with meat is more French and without meat is more Swiss. might be that some Swiss would not agree…

but it was all you can eat… so, there were boiled potatoes, pickled baby corn cobs, pickled baby onions, pickled baby cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, raclette spice… and some canned pineapple which was great to eat at the end.
