yesterday, the 1st of March, marked the beginning of spring on this side of the world, well, at least for sure in Moldova and Romania. on top of that we have a special holiday/celebration - Martisor (Mărțișor) - more info on wiki. The most significant part of this tradition, that well survived to these days, is that people give to each other small decorations/symbols (which are also called Martisor) like the ones in the picture. In fact, they usually have some other stuff tied or glued to them, but i like the simple version. And the clip!!! I randomly found it on my desk and thought - it could work as a contemporary Martisor :)) and, no, I haven’t received so many Martisori (in fact none so far this year)… my parents did and I take from them the ones I like :)))
