these days a big wooden chessboard (and the corresponding pieces) was placed in the Cathedral Square - the very centre of Chisinau.

today I was passing by… a grandpa was playing chess with his grandsons, some people were watching and waiting for their turn to play…and suddenly a bride and groom come saying - are you playing? may we interrupt you a bit for some pictures? and they get on the board and start posing.
