Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights
this is so mainstream classical music :) but really love it
started my evening with another classical music concert… this one was presented by the Spanish Embassy, on the occasion of Spain’s National Day! Thus, my best wishes to Spain :D maybe one day i’ll move to Barcelona :D
the concert was a piano recital, pianist - Daniel del Pino. amazing performance… at some point i was completely carried away.
in this video - one of the performed compositions - Fantasía Bética of Manuel de Falla. the IDM of classical music :)
today, after yesterday concert at the Organ Hall, I thought to check out the National Philharmonic’s programme.
I was surprised to find out that there is an International Festival taking place now. Pleasanly surprised, because I’ll gladly attend some concerts. But also surprised that I didn’t hear about it from any other sources.
I shared the information on facebook, some people were interested to attend too. Today, there was a piano recital, with a soloist from Spain, Eduardo Fernandez.
I went with a friend. Beautiful concert…a pity that there were so few people in the audience :/ either classical music is really unpopular…or maybe people are not informed (like I wasn’t before today). So, people from Chisinau, be informed :)

with more details HERE
the price is only 20 lei (1,25 EUR).
and some photos

works by Albeniz, Schumann and Rahmaninov were performed.
on one hand I felt bad that there were so few people…on the other hand, even with those few people, at times, the sounds coming from the audience were annoying… why is it so difficult to remember to mute your phone? why is it so difficult to abstain from talking/whispering? why the sound of plastic bags? i imagine, a full concert hall would’ve been unbearable :)
after summer, one good reason to like autumn is that a new concert hall and theater season begins.
together with 3 friends, today, been at the Organ Hall’s season opening concert. yes, gladly, this time, i wasn’t alone. but as usual, more old people than young…
today’s programme included works by Schubert and Schumann.
i somehow never listen to recorded classical music, but love it played live.
really like this concert hall, although needs some renovation.

has a coffee and a sweet treat during the break
