250 flats! WOW! *_* How many buildings?
one building, a 9-story one. with 7 “parts”, there are 7 entrances, not sure how they are called in English. 4 flats on every floor… thus 7x9x4 - 252 flats.
pretty ugly building, as many of this type in Chisinau… soviets were building them for the young working people :)

soviet constructivist architecture not at its best, my opinion. at least it’s mostly surrounded by fir tree :)
another constructivist building in the center of Chisinau…spoiled by too ‘contemporary’ interventions
and it is attached/ somehow combined with another building with this façade
and these ones are neighbours to the one with red elements
and next to the main building of the Technical University of Moldova we have this red-balconies building, which is home to a library (ground floor) and many offices.
all of them, including the blue elements building, are situated on the main street of Chisinau
more constructivism from Chisinau. it’s a governmental and other official bodies building.
Emergency Hospital, Chisinau…
wondering if this part on the right in the second picture…is a new one, an older unfinished (since USSR collapsed at the time the building was built), or an older one which they try to renovate…
p.s.: don’t know why…but in the ‘preview’ the pictures look somehow unsharp, if you click and they open in bigger format, they look sharper
