just returned from the Kasabian gig. my camera is acting funny… no good photos (but also didn’t really try to take many pictures etc.)
the gig was fun! better than expected. i’m not a big fan of Kasabian…just know all of their hits/singles… but also listened to all the albums a couple of times.
first time i saw them was summer 2007, at a festival in Bucharest. they were not very popular at that time… but i really liked their performance. if comparing with the one from today… i think i prefer kasabian 2007… cooler, more laid back, without all the pop/show things.
but today the crowd surprised me… very active. why ‘but’? because during other rock concerts the Swiss audience was ‘meditating’ :)
ok, Kasabian communicates a lot with the audience (maybe too much sometimes) and this kind of ‘obliges’ people to be active :)) anyway, don’t think that anybody minded being ‘obliged’.
well, yeah, danced a lot, jumped, at the end got into a mosh pit…for “Fire.

we even had this nice thing of everybody getting down and then jumping at the right moment. love it :)
