Beardyman @ Zurich OpenAir
he was very funny. the music - a mixture of various styles… then at some point he said his custom-made new system has to be rebooted (i hope it wasn’t part of the ‘show’) and in the meantime he improvised some beatboxing for us. again, i danced through the entire set.
Kraftwerk were at the Zurich OpenAir with their 3D show. Seen them for the 2nd time and I feel that there music is so sexy. 1 h and 45 min those not that young men stood and pushed the buttons :D

and me getting ready… the glasses were given away. and of course the show looked correspondingly with them

it can get aggressive when they play…but it’s so much fun.

Hot Chip - I Feel Better @ Glastonbury 2010
for me, one of the Zurich OpenAir highlights was Hot Chip (don’t have a video from Zurich, so sharing a Glastonbury one). it was the 2nd time i saw them live. they are very good, a continuous dance, everyone in the crowd moves, positive vibes, love the way the musicians look :)
Soulwax @ Zurich OpenAir
these guys are very cool. also their project 2manyDJs. seen them 3 times already, always entertaining.
The Killers @ Zurich OpenAir
not a fan of The Killers… their show/concert is like a collection of hits that everybody knows and can sing because of the radio. and for me - and almost all of them sound the same :)
anyway enjoyed it, somehow very positive. too bad that for the most of the show the sound was not loud enough. now I don’t know what to say…been to 2 openairs in Switzerland, this one in Zurich and the one in St.Gallen and both times it was not sufficiently loud. could be some special official regulation? but towards the end of The Killers’ show the sound became much better - don’t know what magic happened.
Simian Mobile Disco @ Zurich OpenAir
Simian Mobile Disco - Hákarl
i would say this is among the very best of SMD. totally enjoyed their set this past night at Zurich OpenAir Festival. danced with much delight for 1,5 h and wished it lasted longer.

for me, the highlight of yesterday was Simian Mobile Disco. the guys make great music for dancing. I’m totally not a fan of Skrillex, but the light-laser-fire and smoke from the stage show was fun :)
